The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality Framework (NQF), and the Reggio Emilia method serve as the foundation for the educational planning and programming of Treehouse Early Learning Centers.

At Treehouse, we think that incorporating these methods, ideas, guidelines, and rules into our daily planning and programming improves the learning of every child. We take great satisfaction in offering top-notch indoor and outdoor play areas, skilled and experienced teachers, and high-quality care and education.

The following Learning Outcomes serve as the foundation for the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which is used in Treehouse’ instructional planning and programming.

  • Youngsters possess a strong sense of self.
  • Children have a strong feeling of wellbeing and are connected to and contribute to their environment.
  • Kids are self-assured and active learners.
  • Youngsters can communicate effectively.

A national approach to regulation, evaluation, and quality enhancement for early children education and care services throughout Australia is offered by the National Quality Framework (NQF).

There are seven Quality Areas in the NQF:

  • Program and Practice for Education
  • The Safety and Health of Children
  • The physical surroundings
  • Arrangements for Staffing
  • Connections with children
  • Cooperative alliances among communities and families
  • Leadership and Governance

The pedagogy of the Reggio Emilia approach is student-centered and employs experiential, self directed learning in relationship-driven settings, including childcare and early childhood education. With a self-guided (child-driven) curriculum, the approach is founded on the values of respect, accountability, and community involvement through inquiry and discovery.

The method, which takes its name from the city of Reggio Emilia, Italy, was created by pedagogist Loris Malaguzzi following World War II and holds that children establish their unique personalities during these crucial early years.

Youngsters need to have some influence over how they learn;

  • Youngsters need to be able to learn by doing, feeling, hearing, and watching.
  • Youngsters must be permitted to develop their relationships with other kids and with tangible objects in the world.
  • Children must be able to express themselves in countless ways and possibilities.

At Treehouse Early Learning Centres

  • Our belief states that each child possesses distinctive traits including their unique background along with their personal interests as well as competencies.
  • The delivery of education through play-based methods functions best according to our opinion because teachers who facilitate play enable children to reach their learning potential through their unique interests across all developmental domains.
  • The educational environment promotes children to develop practical decision-making skills through secure non-threatened problem-solving opportunities.
  • Our aim is to deliver an exceptional learning environment which welcomes all children in their developmental stage through classes that extend their abilities while attending to their physical requirements, cultural traditions and ancestral history.
  • We intend to increase children’s self-esteem levels and building their confidence through the instruction of non-aggressive and confident methods for sharing ideas and expressing emotions and behaviors. All conversations about child ideas along with emotional expression and behavioral demonstrations will receive respectful understanding.
  • The center’s atmosphere will establish equal acceptance and embrace diversity through approaches that value all children families and staff members within our community.
  • The center permits parents to align their efforts with ours for delivering exceptional learning and developmental outcomes to their children through both information sharing and program involvement.
  • The center will adopt environmentally responsible approaches to reduce its impact on the environment.
  • Additional coursework alongside center training activities will help all members of staff improve their understanding and expertise within the early childhood education field.
  • Through providing nutritious meals we want to create positive physical and emotional effects for our children because we establish sound dietary behaviors during their earliest five years.
  • Outdoor spaces in our educational setting serve to enhance the indoor learning environment. The Reggio Emilia philosophy provides numerous settings for children to explore while enabling them to imagine and make things through its view of the environment as the third teaching instructor.

We will do the following for the kids at Treehouse Early Learning Centers:

  • Give each kid access to a flexible play and learning program that builds on their interests, skills, and overall growth.
  • Regardless of a child’s interests, skills, culture, or background, create an atmosphere that will meet and exceed their needs.
  • Using the family as the main information source, program appropriately while acknowledging and respecting cultural differences and commonalities.
  • Before advancing to the next challenge, make sure every kid has the chance to meet their learning and developmental objectives.
  • Offer a program for school readiness that fosters the abilities required for the child to start school.
  • Through incursions and visitors to the center, make sure kids gain an understanding of the larger community.
  • Make sure kids learn about recycling and environmental habits.

Make certain that every youngster receives top-notch care and instruction.

  • Make sure that every child’s health, safety, and wellbeing are the center’s top priorities at all times.
  • Pay attention to the guidance, worries, and questions of parents and respond appropriately.
  • Tell them about their child’s day using a variety of contact channels, such as online forums and discussions with teachers.
  • Make sure the atmosphere is friendly and promote their involvement in the center’s daily operations and program.

Strive to be a cohesive team that supports and encourages each employee as well as the team, acknowledging each other’s talents and shortcomings.

  • Recognize that there are differences within a team in addition to similarities, and we will accept these without passing judgment.
  • In gratitude for sharing the ground on which we stand today, we shall honor and protect the Kaurna lands and their people.
  • Make sure that every team member has a chance to contribute by providing a top-notch care and education program.
  • Continue to assist the parents whose children are enrolled in the center.
  • Make sure the surroundings are consistently kept tidy and secure so that kids can play in areas that are meant to be educational.

The main objective at Treehouse Early Learning Centre involves parent participation in daily center operations. We actively encourage parents to join our offered activities while sharing their individual expertise and talents to improve child experiences at the center.

Across all center operations and their child’s or children’s needs parents maintain complete participation freedom.
